Excellent service, excellent recommendations, great hotel, amiable staff, perfect location. I would recommend anyone interested in visiting this area to stay at this hotel. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated it a lot — beautiful rooftop view of the city and the ocean.
Nice small hotel right off 5th (the Main Street with shops and bars. ) It is far enough away from the party and bars so you can sleep and relax in this unique Mexico hotel. The restaurant Carboncitos, which is attached to the hotel, is excellent with authentic Mexican food. The hotel offers a 50% off breakfast. We had more than we could eat for less than $10 U.S.D. We have been twice now and will go back again.
I enjoyed my time at Hotel Cielo, and dinner at the restaurant downstairs! We had crepes Suzette flambe prepared tableside. I slept well in the air conditioning, and I will be back. Thank you, Hotel Cielo and staff for helping me finding flyboard cozumel price tours for my family.
This is our 3rd time staying at Hotel Cielo, and it keeps getting better. This is an authentic Mexican hotel that is amazingly clean and well kept. I don’t understand how someone can pass this up for those “Americanized” hotels that keep popping up in Playa…If you want to come to Mexico, stay at a hotel that you feel like you are in Mexico.
The price of this hotel should be double (don’t tell Steve the owner). The restaurant attached is fantastic, and the staff is so friendly. We will be back for a 4th time as this is our favorite spot, and it is right in the middle of everything. Thanks so much for the hospitality and helping us to make new memories!
This charming hotel is close to 5th Ave. The rooms are cleverly decorated, and the beds are comfortable. There is a super cool rooftop deck that is great for yoga or chilling with a good book, with excellent views of the Caribbean a short walk away.
The staff is super friendly, and there is a great restaurant, Carboncitos, on-site. Rates are reasonable, and the hotel is safe, immaculately clean, and close to everything. This is one of the last small, cool hotels in Playa, one we enjoy visiting every year.
