A friend and I made a girls trip to the Bahia. We have a blast. The best part of the trip was our fun at the pool bar. Deyron was awesome. He made great drinks and always remembered what we liked. Made our days fun and memorable.
What do I say? This was one of the best trips ever. All-inclusive stay. We stayed at the luxury, which means adult only and full access to anything luxury or Grand side. (Grand is family side) The staff learned our names day one.
Tips: bring your own cups. Staff is the best; they told us about some cozumel discover scuba tours in Mexico. Bars will fill them for you and fewer trips to the bar. Reservations of pool chairs – head to the pool of your choice around 8:30 and sit. You can’t leave towels and bags until after 9. Pool opens then. The bar at 10 AM. Then head to the, fully stocked buffet.
Then back to your spot. We sat in the same place every day and in doing so met terrific people from all over the world. Our group of three became 8-10 people. The party pool with the DJ is so much fun and very interactive with pool games. Make dinner reservations when you check in at the hotel desks. Then you know where dinner every night.
Or use the buffer again. The quiet headphone party was a blast. Walk or take a golf cart ride to the Grand for the stages of entertainment or a day on a real Jamaican beach. This was a girls trip of three ladies age 29-45, and we had a blast. We plan on making this an annual trip. Compared to other resorts this was the best well run place! Go. You won’t regret it. With 350 photos picking 10 is hard!
We stayed at The Luxury Bahia, which was fantastic, the staff were lovely and chatted all the time even remembered our names from day 1. Special mention to Clive on the coconut bar he entertained us daily. Beautiful to walk from one end of the resort to the other stopping off at all the watering holes along the way.
Food was great, preferred buffet to the specialty restaurants, but that was just our preference. Good evening entertainment weather was perfect. There are the boys on the beach trying to sell stuff but a polite no thanks was all that was needed, and they still had a laugh and joke with you so not a problem for us. We hope to return again here in February as we loved it so much.
